About Us

We are Drew and Virgina Terry. While I grew up in the high desert of Nevada, Ginny spent her time sprouting in the moist climates of the west coast of British Columbia. The only explanation I have for my being taller than Ginny's roots must not have liked being wet all the time. The needed a chance to dry out a bit before getting wet again. I suppose that desire to have her roots dry that caused here to come to Utah when she was in her early twenties. As for me I want an education so I attend Brigham Young University. I had just returned from my LDS mission and returned to BYU that I met this beautiful little Canadian girl.

I had just spent two years in midwestern Canada as a mission and in the last area (Carlyle, Sask) I had a older Indian lady tell me that I would be married in six months after returning home from my mission. I told her I did not thing so. See I had not girlfriend waiting for me, and I can honestly say that I had not seen any young ladies in Canada that I considered a good candidate for being my wife. In fact I felt that in two years all I had seen were farmers' daughters. I therefore was convinced to two things 1) I would not be marrying a Canadian and 2) I would not be marrying within six months of returning from my mission. We that was all for not. The first young lady I dated upon my return was a Canadian. Then I meant the most beautiful woman in the world and yes she was a Canadian and we were married exactly six months to the day from the date I returned from my mission.

The rest is history. We have had four children all of which are boys and we have always been a close knit family.
